La Luz de Taos 2024

La Luz de Taos is the evolution of our Biennial Gala and Art Auction, which began in 2009 until we canceled in 2021 due to the pandemic. It has gotten a reputation in the past several years as a gem of a weekend in a wonderful place to visit: historic Taos, New Mexico.

Exclusive open house-style tour of historic site, including E. I. Couse house, studio and J. H. Sharp studio
Julius Rolshoven exhibit in Luna Chapel (J. H. Sharp’s Studio of the Copper Bell)

Saturday, June 15
10:00 am

- Lecture by Dr. Marie Watkins, professor emerita, on Julius Rolshoven, TSA member
- Harwood Museum of Art, Arthur Bell Auditorium
- SPACE IS LIMITED

Friday, June 14
5:00 - 7:00 PM

- Exhibition closing celebration and final art preview
- Wine and hors d’oeuvres reception
- Music and dancing with the Chris Morel Band

Saturday, June 15
5:00 PM

- Draw sale and secret-bid auction for La Luz de Taos exhibition art (drawing begins 7 pm)
- Curated Trunk Sale of art and craft
