Kevin Chupik has been a professional exhibiting artist for more than 25 years. While living throughout the American Southwest, he has cultivated a unique artistic aesthetic. He actively seeks juxtapositions of traditional Western imagery elements with those of vintage modernity. There are often elements of irony or humor woven into the conceptual constructs that make up his paintings. Chupik’s narrative vignettes seek to “cut fresh trail” into the Contemporary Western genre, by merging elements of pop and surreal art with Western iconography. Chupik’s originals and prints are actively collected throughout the US, the UK, Canada, and Australia. He holds a master’s degree in painting and drawing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a bachelor of fine arts from Texas Christian University.
